Randy Rhoads (Ozzy Osbourne) Signature Sound

Randy Rhoads was Ozzy Osbourne's guitar player for many years. He is best known for his work on the song, "Crazy Train", and is my personal favorite guitarist that has played lead guitar for Ozzy.

Here is a list of the gear used in his set-up:

Amp: Marshall JMP100 Watt Master Volume Head
Guitar: Jackson RR-1 Electric Guitar (Signature Model)
Pedals: MXR 10 Band Equalizer, MXR Analog Delay, MXR Distortion Plus, MXR Stereo Chorus, MXR Stereo Flanger, Roland FV-300H Volume Pedal, and Vox 847 Wah.

He also used a few rackmount effects including:
Roland RE-301 Space Echo Tape Delay/Chorus/Reverb
Yamaha E1005 & E1010 Analog Delay / Chorus / Flanger

Here samples of Randy's sound here:

Great guitarist. His life was ended in a ultra-light Airplane while on tour with Ozzy, but he lives on in his sound and his songs.
